Asset management has grown out of pavement and bridge management. At the same time other maintenance management and other management systems, including roadway hardware, tunnel, traffic signal systems and sign management, have evolved to support asset management activities, This topic area features both network-level and project-level measures of condition, performance, deterioration, treatment selection, and life-cycle cost analysis. Multi-year programming, handling risk and uncertainty, and interoperability with other infrastructure management systems are also focal concerns.Facilitator: Tim Rose, Utah Department of Transportation, timrose@utah.gov
